Supporting video content for the blog post Jackie Tries the Latest Ubuntu-16-04-for-Linux http://jacquelinewatersmanesis.tech/jackie-tries-the-latest-ubuntu-16-04-for-linux/ Because I am too cheap to store this video on my own hosting and I can use Youtube to host this content. This blog post is one in a series of "Nerd Talk" that starts at http://jacquelinewatersmanesis.tech/category/nerd-talk/ Running 4 Operating Systems at once Windows 10 Virtual Machines: Zorin OS 12.1 Ubuntu 16.04 Linux Mint 18.01 Relevant System Info CPU: i5-6600k, RAM: 32GB 3000mhz, GPU:AMD Rx480 I would like to give a shout and and sincere thank you to Wendell at Level1Linux and Level1Techs just for hanging in there through all the drama and continuing to make content that had I not found I might not have ever looked into Linux again. Also Bryan Lunduke for Linux Sucks and his radio show. One day I hope to be able to give back to the community as both

Upgrading From My i3-6100 on the Asrock B150m Pro 4 to an I5-6600k on Asus Z170-a

02:39
Getting ready to get my channel started and create content. My Skylake dual core i3-6100 just wasn't up to the job. Installed new Asus z170-a with the i5-6600k overclocked to 4.5ghz. Also swapped out the 16gb of Kingston Hyper Fury 2133mhz RAM for 32gb of Corsair Vengeance 3000mhz. It isn't the highest end system but considering last year all I had was a cheap Lenevo all in one, with this build plus the peripherals, we have come a long way just to get to this point. Reviews and builds coming up as I can afford them as ALL parts and components come out of my pocket and I have other builds and interests. *Note- I realize there is no rear I/o, the motherboard came from Newegg as an open box product and did not include one. This is the first video I have made with this camera, I hope to get better with the camera work in my future reviews and builds Intel Skylake i3-6100 Intel Skylake i5-6600k Asrock B150m Pro4 Asus z170-a Kingston Fury 16gb RAM 2133mhz Corsair Vengeance 32GB 3000mhz Corsair h100i v2 OCZ TR150 SSD Sapphire Radeon RX480 Nitro 8gb Corsair RM750x NZXT s340 Corsair ML120 Corsair SP120 More about this system (benchmarks etc) http://jacquelinewatersmanesis.tech/time-lapse-personal-rig-upgrade/
