It's not good rig at all. Temperature in it will destroy equipment in a short term and dual mining will melt everything inside. Between cards should be at least 150mm and in this space you can put max 4 cards and put in and out fans...but if you are happy - why not )
karma police (9 months ago)
did the cards die? ! ?
Google Mail (1 year ago)
What kind of rig would you recommend and or how to build for a noob... dude you know your stuff +1
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
You were correct. But I think it was not the spacing, but the fact that the builder messed with the GPU Bios settings to get more hashrate from the cards - and that made them run hot and EVERY CARD burnt out.
Feracitus (1 year ago)
@dan cruz hey man thanks for that comment, im building my rigs open frame right now but i fell in love with the prospect of building like this and stacking them on an enterprise hack, because im kinda running out of space in the house! so now i know wich case that is, thanks to you, and its gonna save me a lot! <3

Colin Stienke (7 months ago)
Ya the guy u bought it from was werd
Colin Stienke (7 months ago)
76c wow that's hot as hell
Lumbridgecity (7 months ago)
ya - all those cards burnt out because the Mintminer guy changed the BIOS in the GPU's. Three of the cards of seven were working when I got it, and the other four were fried within a couple months. NO roi here.

Where did you buy this server rack mount?
Lumbridgecity (8 months ago)
I recommend you visit your local computer shop and put together your rigs. I'm also getting more into mining and created a new channel and have an updated video on this unit - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIbTnDCZC0A

I build my own miners with Rosewill racks, they are pretty decent racks however the ones I buy come with 0 fans so purchasing some high air flow fans is a must. Currently mining at 125mh/s with 3 1060's and two 1080's. My gaming pc is the one with the 1080's so I don't use it as often, once that's not running I drop to 70 MH/s and I feel that's pretty good not to mention I'm duel mining Eth and siacoin. Total cost of my system if you wanted to buy it with just two video cards, Windows 10, Psu, motherboard, mem with 0 fans was $1200. at $150-200 per month it's not bad and will be paying it's self soon.
Alan Murray (10 months ago)
How many terahash
lucas chee (11 months ago)
lol how you earn 2.7 eth per month my gpu speed can reach 197mh/s i only can earn 0.9eth per month :(
Lumbridgecity (11 months ago)
likely because back then the difficulty was easy.
My Crypto Life (11 months ago)
ooo I like that case. I'm just using my gaming computer I had for years. all I need was video cards. I bought 2 and modified bios. then installed and ran. I'm at 27.5 1405 core clock 2200 memory mem, fan 100, also added a bitmain fan cause the CFM is better and I can drop my video card temp 10 degree C
Ziggy Ziggyd (11 months ago)
76 Celsius is a way to high temperature, I will replace fans with at list 190ECM
Jim M (1 year ago)
How many GPUs do I need to mine for hot blond chicks with big boobs?
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
I prefer brunette's with curvy hips. no mining machine required. ;-)
Jonathan Skinner (1 year ago)
Watching this video again. Another thing about the setup is that the zip ties will eventually dry out and break. I suggest Velcro ties.
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
Well - I guess I'd better do the video about that and show what I'm seeing, and why my video cards are just cool-looking paper-weights on my desk...
Jonathan Skinner (1 year ago)
Lumbridge, what cards are they? 470? I've been running my msi 470 oc cards in this case for months now (with no lid) @ 24.589mh/s to 27.5 mh/s. Will try new drivers soon. Are you absolutely sure your video cards are burned up? The gpu's should be able to handle up to 110-120C.
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
the video cards ALL burnt out. Every one of them is dead - and afterwards, I realized it was because the MintMiner guy intentionally changed the BIOS settings in the cards... voiding the warranty. The new settings generated 27 Mhash instead of the standard 21 Mhash - The cards lasted about a month and all burnt out - a loss of a couple thousand dollars for me.
king-man mak (1 year ago)
hi how a u. how much cost this server.
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
I cannot recommend the Mintminer manufacturer - three of the cards did not work on arrival and all of the other four cards burnt out because of aggressive BIOS settings. A complete fail.
Hola Holu (1 year ago)
can i using that for mining monero?
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
yes. the GPU cards can be used to mine most anything.
Danger Close (1 year ago)
Don't put it in a closet!
myantispambox (1 year ago)
A server case with 7 GPUs in a closest. Yeah that will end well.
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
Update coming on the Mintminer story. The closet was never a problem but had to leave the door open...
Feracitus (1 year ago)
do they make that case inhouse? it looks slick, id love to buy one but i dont need the whole thing assembled since i already have the gpus.
kmlaporte (1 year ago)
Where did you order the mint mintminer from?
Barry Cartwright (1 year ago)
i bought RX 580 nitro+ 6th june i have to wait till 31st august get one card i buy for £253.48 now the same card is £349.99 im glad i bought it back then

Lumbridgecity we won one battle, they tried to twist Satoshis vision by making it unlimited just like Fiat, but they lost! All Fiat will crumble, hold on tight it's about to get bumpy.
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
the price of GPU's have gone up because of mining - but, CPU prices have not been run up... yet. that will be next as the GOLEM network and others start to my CPU mining more profitable again
Soulsreaper (1 year ago)
what program do u use for mining the coins??
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
the free nicehash miner is the easiest - but you only earn btc.
Big AL (1 year ago)
What overclock setting are you running?
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
the manufacturer went through that process with me online, and I made a video capture so I could learn, repeat and make a tutorial video - watch for that in the next few weeks.
Shane Singleton (1 year ago)
Cook rig. looks like you should break even at around 6 months of owning it. Not too bad. I'm actually surprised the temps on the cards are as good as they are. wish I had $4000 to drop on one of these, lol. At least i'm guesstimating that's what it cost.
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
yes - it was $3700 bucks - and I was wishing for one for several months before I had the trading profits to buy one! Now that I've been running for a while, I've been studying how to build my own - it would save about 1/3 of the cost. Watch for those videos coming up!
eng lawer (1 year ago)
hi ... how can i get this one rig please
eng lawer (1 year ago)

Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
thanks for the note ENG - this rig is from mintminer.com - send Lawrence a note and tell him I sent you!

Lumbridgecity I would recommend the http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=AS2222189710
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
What do you recommend for the case? I've been shopping around and searching for the best 4U Rackmount boxes...

Lumbridgecity thanks for the reply man nice rig there very compact
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
search out the Rosewill RSV-L4000 - 4U Rackmount Server Case. I'm told it can be adapted - I'm ordering two of them shortly and will report on it. Or - get the gray matter GPU case from miningrigs.net

quick question where can I purchase one of these machine
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
this was from mintminer.com check out miningrigs.net too

So basically when you consider electricity it will take 4 months to pay off? I've seen guys with rooms full of the cards saying they make $800 a month without electricity costs so I'm curious as to how people like them that are that serious are doing worse?
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
well - its hard to tell because the profitability of mining goes up and down all the time, so it may be that both videos are showing the actual results, but maybe 8 months or a year apart...
Mohamed Scarpo (1 year ago)
eth collapse
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
lots of collapse today. very glad I cashed out of some alts to btc, then sold my btc for canadian dollar... for now.
Cindy Bronson (1 year ago)
WOW, I'd add some real cooling FAST to that system, you're going to burn out the system faster than you know, they are to close even if you think the fans are nice. Open the case and get some air on those gpu's before you loose your investment. Most large mining banks that systems seems to be part of are kept in temperature controlled rooms, my son keeps his server room at 55 degrees to keep everything cool as they heat up with massive cooling fans. There is a reason most mining rigs out there are OPEN case, they need to be kept as cool as possible. Otherwise looks like a hit for mining IF you can keep it cool for long term operation of the cpu and gpu's. But it's your investment not mine just an observation. Hope you make some money.
Josh Samuel (1 year ago)
Cindy Bronson what does your son mine?
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
i have wondered about that - this computer runs 4 to 5 degrees cooler with the lid on because the air flow is much better focused. I think the open frame machines are an inefficient use of space and miss out on the benefit of the directed air flow past the cards. But - time will tell. I'll keep you posted on how this machine performs.
Syed Alam (1 year ago)
was wondering if there is any other brand instead of Redeon rx models? I can mine (eth) at 26 hashrate! Please help.. thanks
Rubén Vázquez (1 year ago)
Why to use a close case instead of an open one? i really cant understand why people do that.

nice bro you are amazing can you plz tell me the cost of mintminner Machine in USD
Sandeep Thorvat (1 year ago)
ohhh ok nice keep it up ...
tik68 (1 year ago)
make any money yet?
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
yes indeed - it is churning away making about 2.7 eth per month. I have it set to pay out every 1 eth
Yiğit KOÇ (1 year ago)
hi, where can I get this rackmount?
Yiğit KOÇ (1 year ago)
thank you but they are not sending to turkey :(
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
check out mintmining.com and tell Lawrence that LumbridgeCity sent you!
Sandeep Thorvat (1 year ago)
hi this mintmining 2 uinit use only ethereum mining yeah this unit also use Bitcoin
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
the mintminer and all other GPU mining rigs can mine pretty much anything. My machine came set up to mine eth, so I let it run there for a while. And I'm working on learning how to make it mine other currencies. Those videos will come out as a running journal as I'm learning!
KM MINING (1 year ago)
If you put it in a closet, you will destroy it.
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
as you know - the temp of the cards is always monitored. And if I close the door on that closet, you bet - things start heating up too much, even though it has ventilation... that is not enough.
Famous J (1 year ago)

How much did they set you back
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
The unit was 3700 usd and that included shipping to canada. maybe a bit pricey - but it was way worth it for me.

How the FUCK do you buy a rig that expensive and not know what model the GPU's are... jeezuz fuck.

Lumbridgecity thank you for your reply so with my desktop all i need is this connected to my desktop and internet? how much was this rig and how many mhs does it give you? just wanna make sire before i buy jeje maybe numbers changed after thia vid was maybe juat wondering thank you:)
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
yes. and it is good quality. They helped me add my eth address and provided lots of support to get things going. Now when it reboots, it starts to mine automatically.
Scott's Reptiles (1 year ago)
Can you tell me what your electricity cost have been like?
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
I am running blind on that right now - have to order a watt meter. Will be updating those details in the future for sure.
Andrei Maior (1 year ago)
What will happen when proof of stake eventually occurs? Will put an end to ethereum mining?
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
I'm not sure what will happen with eth mining, but my miner will just change tasks and work on another POW coin.
Carlos García (1 year ago)
Where can you ask for mining equipment for crypto coins?
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
it is hard to find a place to order a plug and play mining rig right now. I found the same problem. Check in with mintmining.com and watch for when his stock is back in.
Bills (1 year ago)
the video cards are to close you need around 4 or 5 inches gap between them as the heat will get high in a case its best to have an open air rig and also buy a $10 dollar plug type watt meter to keep an eye on the power used and never go over 80 percent of the psu
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
That is a good tip. So far all the cards are running in the mid 70's - the cards run 3 or 4 degrees cooler when the case is closed because the airflow is directed through and past the cards. I need to get a watt meter - running blind there.
wookie0 (1 year ago)
how much money have you made since you started on May 26th, 2017, after conversion to USD?
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
I have mined 1.63 ethereum since this machine started. Mining Eth at 130 M/hs, it is generating 2.27 eth per month... presently generating about $850 USD per month without considering electricity.
Michael Harvey (1 year ago)
from where u bought this machine?
VoskCoin (1 year ago)
Nice video man! When did you order this, seems every miner everywhere is out of stock lol I just received a pandaminer for better and worse
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
I watched your pandaminer videos and glad I did not get one. Great to see your videos on the DASH mining recently too! Keep it up!
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
I was really lucky to get the machine, and even more lucky to pick up a the last two 470s from a local computer shop. Everyone who sells a mining rig seems to be out of stock, and when I search computer part shops, they are all sold out of the most efficient cards for mining... the world is waking up to the profits in cryptos!
mongral59 (1 year ago)
wow I'm blown away at how low of an IQ you have. I would be making $1260 with such a rig.
mongral59 (1 year ago)
I would if i didn't have a family and day job. Check out Bits Be Trippin' channel he goes in great depth and is very informative. You got something configured very wrong and that mining pool may suck.
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
ouch! I'm looking forward to your mining rig videos for dummies!

I want to mine eth with my 1050 ti can u gave me the link?
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
I'll send you to the source - the mining master that I learn from is Lee from the http://youtube.com/user/iMineBlocks channel.
Sticky Toe (1 year ago)
You know only 4 of your GPU's are actually mining?
Alain Mardirossian (1 year ago)
Mining is not profitable anymore unless you where mining like 6 mouths ago and paid off your equipment. Difficulty to mine went up, prices for parts went up, For your 5 card problem, it was an issue with the RX5 series and window ls drivers you simply need to mix drivers.(youtube it) I am not sure if the new amd driver fixed that windows issue! Give it a try! I have build a few z170 gaming 5 boards running 7 cards!
Stephen Kennedy (1 year ago)
Thanks...I'll do that....so do you recommend that over the Mintminer?
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
Be sure to browse bitmain.com - order from them, or one of their miners from a reseller - they have many options and the best equipment.
Stephen Kennedy (1 year ago)
That sounds awesome.....I really wanted to get started mining myself, after this fiasco with Genesis....but not really tech oriented, and was looking for an already built solution....but the good ones seem hard to find...unless your willing to pay outrageous premiums for it....
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
It is not possible to replace them - I got the LAST of the RX 480's in the world it seems! From here out though, I'll be building my own rigs - and have been preparing to get started. PnPCryptoRig channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVMw2OXN0ldsag_5dTenpLw will post updates.
keno024 (1 year ago)
Are you worried your mining rig will become obsolete when POS comes out?
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
not at all. This miner can mine many coins. I plan to make videos of testing it out hashing everything - just so I learn how to make every kind of digital currency I can earn.
mattonedime (1 year ago)
Maybe a dumb question... but how are there 7 cards with only 6 PCI-e risers? And is the last slot even a pci-e? Looks like that MB only has potential for 5 GPUs
Dan (1 year ago)
MSI Z97 Gaming 5: 3x PCIe 16x, 4x PCIe 1x. I wish I had picked up more when they were ~$100, now the price is over-inflated. It is possible to run an 8th card using an m.2/PCIe 1x adapter, but a BIOS modification is required.
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
at 0.07 in the intro, you can see a still shot of the seven places the cards are wired to in the motherboard - and at 1:05 you can see six are attached, and the seventh had vibrated out of the board during shipping. I'll show more detail on many of the videos I've been doing this week... gotta edit them!
Hans Hulsebos (1 year ago)
Rosewill 4U server case, power drill, blammo. make sure to clean out metal scraps which can short your mobo. I like to screw the power switch into the back grill.
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
Many thanks Hans! I'm ordering the grey matter cases as well. I appreciate your tips here as I'm working on building Rigs and hope to scale up to hire a few collage students to assemble a raft of them.
Hans Hulsebos (1 year ago)
you need to strip out everything, leaving just the case. I use the silver metal strut inside the case to secure my gpus, recommend drilling the holes outside of the case so that scraps of metal aren't left behind to short out your components. There are 2 flat metal pieces that help secure the hdds that you should keep when you are stripping out the case, these can be placed together then duct taped into the case to serve as a place for your pcie risers to stand. Finally, you need a fixture for your fans (which should be 150-190 cfm) i like using the koolance 3x120 radiator shroud after i take the plastic off of them. Don't forget to put some grills on those fans! I can fit 7 gpus these cases. Although, I only buy grey matter cases now: when i was starting out I was looking to cut costs everywhere and DIY this case costs maybe 175usdt
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
I've been looking at the 4U server case - but don't see how i can fit the cards in the same way.
Team ABOTYLIS (1 year ago)
The temp will kill this miner.
Dan (1 year ago)
Absolutely not true. Airflow is key, high velocity server fans must be used. There is a reason why every data center ever uses a hot side and cold side, and they all utilize closed server cases. As long as you have adequate airflow, you're golden. e.g. All of my 4U cases run much cooler than my open-air miners ever did.
XLouisGamerX (1 year ago)
I just did a miner mining at 198mhs myself for 3000$CAD, so if you buy this it should only be because you don't have any time of knowledge related to computer/mining. Still a great machine for beginners :)
XLouisGamerX (1 year ago)
Yeah I know that feel, that moment you think they're properly tuned, something happen letting you know that you were wrong hahaha, well you're lucky because I was looking to buy some more RX soon but they're really out of stock everywhere right now :/
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
oi amigo! Tudo bem?
Dan (1 year ago)
XLouisGamerX I bought them all between a year ago and 6 months ago... haven't expanded any further since then. Life has been busy, and tuning miners is time consuming!
XLouisGamerX (1 year ago)
Where do you get em? :O
Dan (1 year ago)
XLouisGamerX I'm sitting on ~45 of them and have half a mind to throw em on eBay! I think common sense will prevail though. They've already ROI'd at their purchase price, and will undoubtedly continue to be profitable.
Sunny D (1 year ago)
Very cool hardware mate, however sticking it in away in a closet is a sure way to kill your GPUs/hardware they will need sufficient cooling for sure if you plan to run this unit 24/7.
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
you bet - the heat monitor on the cards was hitting mid 80's C and with the door open they run at low 70's... gotta keep that door open!
The Crazy Old Coot (1 year ago)
Do yourself a favor and keep your machine off the floor. Put it at least 3 feet off the floor unless you want to pull off the covers and blow the dust out every month. The higher off the floor the less dust will get into your machine. Dust kills electronics.
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
many thanks! I agree with you there!! I am behind in the video journal - but you'll see that it is sitting comfortably on a metal shelf in a clean area with lots of air. The temps are running in the mid 70's and steady hashing!

011001 (1 year ago)
wow, seems like you're doing pretty good with cryptocurrency. I should probably get in to it. Use to runescape merch with you and your clan a while ago. Do you still mess around with RS at all? After all, it's fake money!
ImPaulsive (1 year ago)
I only play runescape once in a while now; maybe once every two weeks to a month since I got bored of it. After obtaining 50 bil of RS3 gold (because GDW2 made it so much easier to gain GP), there isn't really much to do.. I mean I could sell it for real cash, which I have been doing in the past, but it's too much effort and too many scammers out there (I actually lost like 4 bil in total from paypal disputes after selling like 26 bil at .23/mil) So it's just a hassle really.. I've been mining btc and eth and flippping the market exchange for the past 4 months and it has been a profitable ride, moreso than runescape can every give me. I'm just waiting until the btc fork blows over this Aug 1st. Good luck to all the miners and market flippers out there and may the force be with ya'll...
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
thanks for the note JJ - look forward to hearing about your profits IRL
I still play, Only on osrs mind you. Anyway. Love the videos. Busy getting in to mining myself. :)
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
I don't spend any time on RS anymore - but sure am grateful for all the practice in merchanting and making merch videos! All those same bottom formation strategies really work well in cryptos - all good Runescape Merchanters should be getting really wealthy IRL with cryptos!
Rad Matt (1 year ago)
I wish these were priced more reasonably. I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for a plug and play solution but their asking price is too high. Looks amazing though.
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
Even if you buy a good graphics card for your desktop computer, and start hashing a little... then you can grow from there!
Rain Bitcoins (1 year ago)
That's bullcrap... You pay a hefty premium to have it built for, and straight out of the box 3 cards are faulty?? That's just wrong....please keep us posted regarding the developments on this situation.
Rain Bitcoins (1 year ago)
Best to build and mine for yourself.
Dan (1 year ago)
Precisely the reason I'm just building and mining for myself. I now have an equivalent 4U product that I could potentially market, but I know full-well just how touchy these things are when running at peak hash/efficiency. The last thing I need is a lawsuit, or feeling like I'm conducting shady business.
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
Will do Claude - I picked up two 470s and a 580, had 6 cards running, but not as efficiently... thought I'd download and install the drivers for the 580 - and now only two cards are working. :-P Have a time set up this week for some tech support. Learning lots!!
tik68 (1 year ago)
lol u over paid at least 1200 bucks
Dan (1 year ago)
Because ROI. An MSI RX470 will pay for itself in short order. Although it won't hash as quickly as a top-end Nvidia card, the price differential puts the Nvidia completely out of the running. At a given price point, AMD's architecture is far faster at the computations required for cryptocurrency mining than Nvidia's. That could always change though... we must always keep our ears to the ground. http://www.nvidia.com/object/visual-computing-appliance.html
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
I recently found a GPU computing machine that had a rack of eight $6000 cards... and wondered why we don't see those ultra costly cards in these mining rigs...
tik68 (1 year ago)
EH... mabye 500 bucks not that much lol.
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
It's okay to spread the wealth for a great product and great service... I paid in bitcoin from trading profits, gave a bit of a tip, and I did not dicker about shipping.
Indigo Sun (1 year ago)
Hi grtz! and please what you will to do about Ethereums PoS and The AMD Vega?can you please give to us your opinion? thanks

I am ancious to see how the ETH market gonna react and the Eth's Block also ! May if all miners change to vega rig's its could turn others amd gpus mine 25% less . And if all other amd gpu miners change to ETC, its possible what ETC end intantly ! Its what i studied , but we need to share and to see more opinions about it ! After AMD VEGA a lot things will change .thank you too also! cya

I see!! Thanks for that tip Indigo! Many times the comments below my videos are more valuable to me than the content in the video! I'm also learning all I can so I can start building my own rigs too... commercial production of home-based GPU mining rigs must be ramping up somewhere - this is too obvious of an opportunity!

Yes, you are all right i am asking to see the point of view from ETH miner after the AMD VEGA launch! I am planning to build my first rig! Thanks mate ! The AMD VEGA launch is tonight live from amd website.

I don't know about that Indigo - I see you have been asking a few different ETH miners the same question. (I've been watching lots of tutorial videos). If ETH changes, I'll mine something else... I plan to be using this GPU rig to test all different mining that it can do.

Nice video, the miner looks nice and clean

Nice man, it seems pretty nice :D

I am really liking it as well. It fit on a shelf in a back room and I don't have to think about it.

This is sexy

how many ethereum can it mine per month ?
KEVIN SORRELL (1 year ago)
Claude M you are right but remember any altcoin that gets marketing, and such, will get popular, i got some at very cheap price, i also got ethereum at 50 cents, people said ethereum wasn't popular then.
Rain Bitcoins (1 year ago)
KEVIN SORRELL gridcoin? Don't even bother wasting your time and electricity... Stick to the money makers. Ether, ether classic, zcash, monero etc....
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
I also bought a refurbished computer and added a good mining card - just for small scale testing of mining different coins, while this machine stays focused on ethereum - much to learn!
KEVIN SORRELL (1 year ago)
I need to setup gridcoin mining bit im clueless lol
Rain Bitcoins (1 year ago)
KEVIN SORRELL ya well... Had you mined those 5 btc per month back then you would be a millionaire today.... Just saying...
Matt A (1 year ago)
Sounds great. Where did you buy that?
Matt A (1 year ago)
I see. Thanks a lot! I'll check that out

mintmining.com - they were out of stock a bit ago...

What happens after Ethereum shifts from POW to POS and mining is no longer necessary?
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
Time to mine it now so I have more for POS! Then I mine XMR...
matthew oluwaseun (1 year ago)
Do you mind sharing where I can get this miner also?
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
mintmining.com if you know of any other manufacturers in north america - please share!
BigRoons (1 year ago)
i want one but they are sold out
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
The new graphics cards are not as efficient, and the manufacturer can't order in the best ones - so they are waiting.

Honestly I would leave the top panel off and blow a box fan on it to keep it cool. I think the cards are a little to close together.
Dan (1 year ago)
It will run much hotter with a box fan vice cross-flow with good fans and a sealed case. That's coming from personal experience.
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
The cards are about 5 degrees cooler because of the air-flow through the unit with the lid on. It is moving massive air - and pretty quiet too. I don't have an S9 Antminer to compare it too though
Todd Combs (1 year ago)
I would not recommend putting this in your closet. It will get very hot. The cooler it is the long the cards will last. If it where me I would put it very close to my a/c vent.
Mainchain (1 year ago)
Great way to deal with it :)
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
The closet I have is unique, because the ceiling vents air out of the apartment... if it were a sealed closet I would agree - it is warming up the place!

New coins, compound interest on lending + increased value over time. Sound like a win win win.
Lumbridgecity (1 year ago)
Just takes patience. And long-term habitual repetition. Gotta keep that vision in mind!
